Refund policy

Riley’s Books — Return & Refund Policy

Effective Date: September 15, 2026

Thank you for purchasing from Riley’s Books. Because our products are digital eBooks, all purchases are considered final sales.

1. All Sales Are Final

Due to the nature of digital products, Riley’s Books does not offer refunds, returns, exchanges, or cancellations after a purchase has been completed.

Once an eBook has been purchased and delivered or made available for download, the purchase cannot be returned for a refund.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Changing your mind after purchasing.

  • Purchasing the wrong book.

  • Accidentally purchasing a book.

  • No longer wanting the book.

  • Disliking the book or its content.

  • Purchasing a book that is not suitable for your child.

  • Downloading or accessing the wrong product.

  • Having already downloaded or opened the eBook.

2. Exception — Product Was Not Received

A refund may be considered only if you paid for an eBook but did not receive the product or access to the product.

To request a refund under this exception, you must provide reasonable proof that:

  1. The purchase was successfully completed and payment was taken; and

  2. The purchased eBook was not delivered or made available to you.

Examples of useful proof may include:

  • Your order confirmation.

  • Your receipt or transaction information.

  • Screenshots showing that the purchased eBook was not delivered or cannot be accessed.

  • Relevant emails or download information.

  • Other information reasonably requested by Riley’s Books.

3. Technical or Delivery Issues

Before issuing a refund, Riley’s Books may attempt to resolve delivery or access problems.

For example, we may provide:

  • A replacement download link.

  • Another copy of the purchased eBook.

  • Assistance accessing your purchase.

  • Another reasonable solution to the delivery problem.

If we can successfully provide the product you purchased, a refund will generally not be issued.

4. Proof of Non-Delivery

A refund is not automatic simply because a customer states that they did not receive an eBook.

Riley’s Books may review order records, payment records, delivery records, download records, and other relevant information when determining whether a product was successfully delivered or made available.

If our records show that the product was successfully delivered or made available for download, the purchase will generally remain non-refundable.

5. Unauthorized Purchases

If you believe a purchase was made using your payment method without your authorization, please contact Riley’s Books as soon as possible.

We may investigate the transaction and may request information necessary to verify the claim.

6. How to Request a Refund

If you believe you qualify for the non-delivery exception, contact us as soon as possible and provide:

  • Your name.

  • The email address used for the purchase.

  • Your order number.

  • The name of the eBook purchased.

  • Proof of payment.

  • Evidence showing that the product was not received or made available.

Please do not send your full payment-card number, password, or other unnecessary sensitive information.

7. Refund Approval

Refunds under this policy are subject to verification.

If Riley’s Books confirms that payment was successfully received but the purchased product was not delivered or made available, we may issue a refund to the original payment method.

If the product was successfully delivered or made available, the purchase will generally be considered final and non-refundable.

8. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy is intended to remove or restrict any refund, cancellation, or other consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

Where applicable law requires Riley’s Books to provide a refund or other remedy, those legal requirements will apply.
